What’s Involved in a Powerboat Medical?
Our Doctor will conduct an examination confirming your fitness for competitive powerboat racing. This is carried out using various tests and questions. They include:
- Eyesight test
- Urine analysis
- Blood pressure reading
- Sufficient movement and flexibility of limbs
- Consideration of medication currently taken
- Questions surrounding medical history
Our Doctor will sign the medical form there and then if you have passed the examination, ready to send to the RYA.
